Leander Lavender, is a small family owned lavender farm and apiary located in the beautiful rolling hills of the Texas Hill Country. We currently have 5 varieties of lavender, Grosso, Sensational, Sweet, Goodwin Creek, and Big Boy James. This diversity allows for a longer bloom time as each variety has a slightly different season. It also allows for environmental protection as we deal with a harsh environment from 105-degree drought-ridden summers to ice-covered below zero winters. Each variety has its strengths and weaknesses, therefore, one weather event will not take out our entire crop. We sell our fresh bouquets to local markets but do offer a variety of lavender products for sale. We do not use any chemicals on our plants, and we strive to maintain this quality in all of our lavender and bee products.

Little A’s Bees is the name of our apiary, run by Little A himself, my son (with the help of his dad). Our growing apiary is in the middle of Indigo Ranch and is surrounded by a huge bloom of Texas wildflowers in the spring when the nectar flows. We do not treat our bees with any chemicals and our honey is extracted and bottled on site. Our artisan honey is raw and unfiltered. The wildflowers give our honey a light, floral bouquet, it’s really lovely.
